Information we collect

Orders: when you place an order, our payment provider, Stripe, collects your name, email address, shipping address and payment details. We receive your name, email address, shipping address and order details so that we can fulfil your order. Your card details go directly to Stripe, and we do not see or store them.

Forms: when you use our contact form or wholesale enquiry form, we collect the information you enter, such as your name, email address, phone number, business details and message.

Shopping cart: your cart is saved in your browser’s local storage, on your own device, so that it is still there when you come back. It is not sent to us until you check out.

Technical information: like most websites, our hosting provider, Cloudflare, processes technical information such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you visit in order to deliver and protect the website.

How we use your information

• To process, ship and support your orders, and to send you order-related messages.
• To reply to your questions, messages and wholesale enquiries.
• To operate, secure and improve our website.
• To meet our legal, tax and accounting obligations.

Who we share it with

We share personal information only with service providers that help us run our website and fulfil orders: Stripe (payments), Resend (delivery of messages sent through our forms), Cloudflare (website hosting) and shipping carriers. These providers may handle information in countries outside Canada, including the United States. We do not sell your personal information.

Cookies and tracking

Our website does not currently use advertising or analytics cookies. Stripe’s checkout page may use cookies, as described in Stripe’s own privacy policy. If we add analytics or other tracking tools in the future, we will update this policy.

How long we keep it

We keep personal information only for as long as we need it for the purposes above, or as the law requires (for example, to keep tax and accounting records).

Your choices and rights

You may ask to see the personal information we hold about you, to correct it, or to have it deleted, subject to our legal obligations. You may also withdraw your consent to our use of your information at any time. To do so, contact us using the details below.

Security

We take reasonable steps to protect personal information. However, no method of sending information over the internet is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children

Our website is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
